His Royal Highness Prince George of Wales has spoken.
The dispute in the world of pizza makers between those who prefer tradition (wood-fired ovens) to practicality (electric ovens) has come to an end.
The former won!
The eleven-year-old heir to the throne has once and for all broken the tie a few days ago.
As reported by the Daily Mail, George was visiting the Wiveton Hall Café, a picturesque restaurant (sadly soon to close) in a 16th-century Manor House in the Norfolk countryside.
The owner, Mr Desmond MacCarthy, took an enthusiastic George on a property tour.
To MacCarthy’s surprise: -when George was shown the wood-fired pizza oven, the 11-year-old exclaimed:
‘That’s what I want to do when I grow up!”
So… wood-fired enthusiasts around the world, rejoice!
